It’s Time to #Listen2Workers

Workers Share Their Stories

#Listen2Workers

#Listen2Workers is a campaign from EPIC in partnership with SEIU CA, BlackECE, Caring Across Generations, Southern Economic Advancement Project, State Innovation Exchange (SiX), and allies that is focused on the the stories of workers—their lives, struggles, hopes, and ideas for change (see the Spotlight on Poverty profile of the campaign).

Through videos, forums, and written pieces, we aim to help elected officials and everyday people reconnect with workers by doing the most powerful thing: listening—an approach underscored in this Newsweek op-ed.

From fast food and care workers to security guards, gig workers, and others, Californians and workers across the nation are speaking up—it’s time for leaders to show up and listen.

Your voice matters. Whether you’re a caregiver, cashier, cook, or any other blue-collar worker, your story helps shine a light on what working people are experiencing, want, and need.

Share your story on social media and use the hashtag #Listen2Workers. We’ll find it and lift it up as part of the movement for change.
